Noted For: Was made a board member of BHR Partners, a Chinese private equity fund (2013-20), and Burisma Holdings, a Ukranian natural gas producer (2014-19), while his father, Joe Biden, was the U.S. vice president. Allegedly left a laptop computer at a repair shop containing e-mails implicating him and his father in a Ukranian corruption racket (2019). Pleaded guilty to misdemeanor tax charges and sentenced to probation (2023).
